kiran was a Ph.D. student from Andhra Pradesh state,india he shot dead in his apartment at Louisiana State University in the United States on Thursday night.
Kiran Allam, 30, is the son of famous writer Allam Rajaiah and the news of his killing sent shockwaves through his native village of Gajulapalli in Karimnagar.
Kiran Allam’s mother, Mrs Shoba Rani, and his sisters, Ms Rajani and Ms Chandana, are staying in the US.
The Baton Rouge police suspects that three people had entered Kiran Allam’s apartment and had shot the two friends. A manhunt is now on to trace the killers. The Louisiana State University police department and Baton Rouge police are both working on the case.
Chandrasekhar Reddy and Kiran Allam were shot in the head and the former had also been tied up with a computer cable.
Three men were seen leaving the area soon after the incident.
It was Kiran Allam’s pregnant wife, Mrs Swapna, who found the bodies and called the police. Kiran was studying for his doctorate in chemistry.
Kiran had completed his school education in Mancherial, in Adilabad district, and went to college in Hyderabad before leaving for the US.

Kiran Kumar Allam is from Andhra Pradesh and was a PhD student in Louuisiana State university in USA. He was found dead in his apartment on 13th December, 2007.

He is A great Poet Rajaiah's son from karimnagar districr
his uncle Allam Narayana is my classmate in osmania university he is also a great writer. if i do not mistake i have attended Rajaiah's home town in 1980s.
