I've never been to keen on class warfare.

To be frank, I respect the opinions of all Americans, regardless of background, culture or education. In particular, when an American isn't hog-tied to one political party, and actually thinks for themselves, I admire them all the more.

That said, there is no shame in getting a college education. I hope my children aspire to get one, and I don't think their value as American citizens diminish one iota if they happen to get that education.

Those who decide to forego post-secondary education and earn their living out of guile, sweat and hard work are just as noble however, and have an equal say in the affairs of our country.

Deciding that one class of people is somehow greater than the other however, gets us nowhere. We all pursue the American dream differently, and we are all equal citizens because of it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "collegiate scholars"--college graduates or instructors. But if either, they may have a better knowledge of the subject than you do.

But here is a point. I don't mind a good political debate or conversation, as long as the person I'm talking too knows what they are talking about and are not just throwing out an unsubstantiated opinion.

The problem with the latter is that it isn't really a debate, or conversation. What it really is--"if you don't beleive the way I believe, then you are wrong and stupid."

They went to a Liberally controlled college, paid for off the backs of our forefathers, taxpayer's, and their parents' hard work. The majority of teacher's these days, are Liberal Hippy, Vietnam war protester's, and got their jobs off of Affirmative Action (Liberal idea), and believe they deserved what they now have, FREE, off of the backs of Americans, who fought and died so they could have it. To these Liberals, they are not abusing any law. Receiving without giving is a RIGHT. It's wrong, but you'll NEVER see or hear a Liberal admit it.
A Liberal who believes this way, doesn't know the difference between FREEDOM, and FREE. No matter to them that there is a dictionary, and thousands of libraries in the USA, that are FREE, they'll still never get it!

Part of the problem is because the elite feel that without their investing the capital the country would have fallen apart. They also believe that labor is not worth the money they pay them and are just out to rip them off!
When realisically it is the elites ripping off the common man by lowering their wages as much as possible!

Because they studied hard their whole life and demonstrated what they know and got degrees showing they have accomplished something. You on the other hand can't write, can't spell, have nothing to say, and spend your time asking loaded questions on Yahoo! Answers.
If that isn't plain enough you will never get it.
