I didn't, and I really don't think that anyone truly knows. All I know is that I loved her and felt strongly enough about her that it was the next step that I wanted and needed to take with her. We have been married for 7 years and have 3 kids. Still though, I will never say that she is the "one" and I hope she doesn't me either, because neither of us truly believe in the idea that there is only one person out there for everyone.

We dated for almost 4 years and both always said that we'd never marry again, as we both had been in bad failed relationships. We had a LDR and lived 2.5 hours from one and other but would see each other every weekend and would talk nightly on the phone. I got along with her kids and she with mine, all our children were pretty mature and happy for us. One weekend I went to her place and just had to ask her to marry me. We both laughed and cried together and we did marry on May 20 of this year. We have so much in common yet also have different interests at the same time. We trusted, and continue to do so, each other and it felt like the stars were all lined up for us. If we had met maybe 20 years ago things would have been different but we met at the right time in our lives and knew the true meaning of love and happiness. That is why I knew my Princess Fairy Goddess Wife was the gal for me.

how did I know she was the one?
I was going through a really tough time in my life & all her friends told her to give up on me. Thank goodness she didnt. She stood by my side during the whole ordeal. Thats when I knew she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
10 yrs later I still think the same.
besides she cant get rid of me, she lost the reciept....lol

A man can tell that the woman he is with is the one when he cant breath without her. When he can see his unborn children in her eyes you know he really loves that woman. When he wants to meet her needs before his.
