just hangs up instead of saying good bye before they end a phone call?
Why do I find that SO annoying?

I know what you mean, I had a sweet little lady (she has passed now, I miss her), she would do it and I love her but it aggravated the **** out of me.

Because it's rude. Yes, my father ends all calls by just hanging up. But he doesn't mean to be rude, he just doesn't say goodbye.

I don't know many people who do that, but I've had it happen to me before. I do find it annoying.
Someone once told me that they do it because they think saying goodbye sounds so final, like they're never going to see the person again... weird, but true.

yes but i already know the conversation is over they just end it saying see you later or something. i do like it when they say bye though.

they could at least say I'll talk to you later or I have to

My husband does that sometimes and it ticks me off, it is the most annoying and rude thing!!!

Yep, it can be annoying. or when I answer thte phone the person calling says "Who's this?"

Yes, ironically my co-workers and I were just discussing this very subject. We have an employee that does this all the time and it pisses us off.
