Facebook will not remove photos unless they violate the terms of use. The only thing you can do is untag the photo and ask the person to remove it. If the person doesn't remove the picture when you ask, I would suggest being more careful about the pictures you're in.

Go to the picture, and where you see your name in blue under the picture it says beside it "remove tag" they will still have your picture in their album, but it won't show up on your profile. You will have to ask them to take it off. You can also click "report this photo" on the bottom left of the photo. Good luck :) I've sent emails to facebook requesting that it be mandatory that I approve pictures tagged of me before they can be seen by the world... you should do the same

You can't remove the photo from the album, but you can remove the tag from the photo. Just click on the link that says "remove tag". The photo will still be there but it will not be associated with you.

Facebook will not allow you to remove a photo of yourself. The only thing you can do is untag yourself, but that will not remove it from their album. You can try to report them and have facebook remove it, but it has to be something against their policy.

The only thing you can do is untag yourself from the photo, or ask them to take them down or cut you out of them. If any of your friends have facebook account before taking pics with them ask if they are going to put them on facebook before you take them. The pics are their property and you or facebook cannot make anyone take down pics or keep them from putting them up just because you are in them.
