its tradition. Please convince me to do it or not and why.

I am not a feminist by any stretch of imagination but this is a horrible mutilation of a young girl. And essentially the muslim religious leaders of the world agree that it is an 'un-Muslim' act.

Isn't that illegal? NOOO! Why would you want to cut your daughter, tradition or not? Why don't they have male castration at birth and call it 'tradition'?

it may be tradition, but it is also mutilation and cruel, and it is not called for by the muslim faith, or any other faith for that matter.
