It was while i was 17 for speeding i missed the court date? like a year ago

You can still get a Texas ID card as the bench warrant does not include an out of state extradition...I'm sure...not for a traffic offense.

Your best bet is to contact the clerks office where the incident occurred and find out what it will take to clear up your case. Once you do this...getting a new drivers license won't be a problem as it will be until the matter is taken care of!

some warrents will get you picked up anywhere. But some warrants are only valid in certain counties or states. Depends how it was put out.

Chances are that missed court date is about to bite you in the a.s in Texas. Until its cleared up,its going to follow you everywhere and it will hurt you.

doubtful - you might get arrested on the spot - you need to turn yourself in - you could be moving up on America's Most Wanted list
