How about we make them dig into their own pockets to cover the annual federal deficit. If they were held personally liable for revenue shortfalls, perhaps they'd be more fiscally responsible.

the place they should decrease first are the UNION jobs they are those choking your device and the ineffective city workers pushing paper around to look busy. while some gov workers retire they recover from $2 hundred,000 in step with 3 hundred and sixty 5 days . it is your nearby city workers alongside with Dem run state that are choking your state, spending tens of millions for and endangered mouse. the only way issues will replace is to do away with the folk sitting in workplace correct now that are spending .

You initiate a petition...corny, I know. But you would need to initiate a petition in every state to have it proposed to the floor of the House; where it would be addressed.
You know, if you were so inclined, you could initiate this national campaign yourself. You could also seek donations for legal expenses and your overhead costs(which includes your salary). Then you could personally take this to D.C., before the House, and then fight them head on.
I'd support your campaign!

I'm a nurse whom works for the state. Please don't cut my salary, I don't get paid enough for the responsibility as it is. On the serious side you'd have to start by garnering support from local reps.. Those of whom get what they need done for their local constituents by those higher in power.
Now, get them to do that and I personally would donate all of my time for you to be president of the United States.
This is just another point of what is meant by "the government is broken", "We came to Washington to change it, instead Washington changed us!". (John McCain)

LOL, well, we can start firing the ones who are supported by corporations and take their money. It's obvious that they are moonlighting by working for the corporations and not the American people like they are supposed to. Let's start with firing those in the white house who obviously work for the oil corporations and the corporate military contractors. Then we'll move to the senate and congress and really clean house.

Who you gonna start with? How about contracting firms like Halliburton? I mean if you want to make a small but noticable dent really and aren't just ranting.

We gave them the power to give themselves raises whenever that want them. Now how to stop that i have no idea.
Government employees have never worked for us.We just pay them and they work for themselves. Sicking isn't it.

I say make most of them part-time. It would save enormously by reducing benefits and retirement.

Good idea, then they would learn what it is like to have "illegals" as their neighbor instead of just their Gardner.
