molly- i'm very sorry to have offended you, i really didn't mean my question to come out that way, my intentions were to get people to see how blessed they are, i understand that it may seem insensitive if you are alone, i apologize.

I am actually blessed to be spending Christmas with my daughter, she's 10 mos and it is of course her first Christmas. I have my family to help celebrate the occasion, so this Christmas I'm nowhere near alone! Yay!!!

If you are going to be alone this Christmas, and it concerns you, try blessing someone else. There are many who would not care to be alone and inviting them into your celebration will take care of both of your dilemmas! Mind you, I am not saying that there is anything wrong with being alone if you are comfortable with that. But all that it really takes in this case, to be blessed, is to bless someone else.

My boyfriend and I will be spending Christmas together. No family this year but I can't complain, it'll be nice to have dinner for two and a quiet night.

I am not alone ( I am married) but I do think that assuming that its bad to be alone is stupid. Your question could also be

Are you going to be with someone this Christmas or are you blessed to be alone enjoying some personal time to yourself?
