Check with seller asap. If no return policy, contact Paypal if you used that to pay for the item. They usually have some kind of coverage for items purchased with Paypal or a dispute process. Otherwise, about the only thing you can do is report it to Ebay, leave negative feedback, and move on. Hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Contact the seller immediately. The seller may not have a return policy. Look at the auction listing. If they do have a return policy, it is usually in the first 3-5 days. You get the aution price refunded minus your shipping costs usually. And, since you are going to have to pay to send it to the seller, you have to decide whether it is worth it.But, if it is their fault, they will rpobably refund or replace, so you don't leave them negative feedback.

Each seller has a different returns policy, my daughter has been ripped off once or twice but on the whole you usually do get to return defective products. You will have to read their returns policy to find out.

If you bought if from an auction that didn't state any return policy then you might be able to file a seller dispute if the item was stated as "working". Look at >> http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/using-dispute-console.html
Hope this helps.

First contact the seller. If the seller misrepresented the item, you should file a report with ebay.

check out the sellers return policy in the listing, if there is no return policy, try to contact the seller via e-mail first to explain the situation, if she is unwilling to work with you, you can give negitive feedback, or report her to ebay!

If the seller is a business, they have to accept the return of a faulty item, by law.
If the seller is a private individual, you can only hope they MAY accept the return of a faulty item.
