D-Mc will be sought after by a few clubs and Philly can sit back and wait for the best offer, which may be multiple draft picks over several years. The Bears would be in the mix, since the front office has to believe they are a QB away from clawing back into the playoff picture, but the price will be steep.
The club cannot afford to start over with a rookie at the helm or a cast-away from another team to open next season (unless the Browns are dumb enough to deal Derek Anderson). The future is now for the Bears and they need a legit vet leading the offense.

It'll probably be a rooke, although I think Chad Pennington has a better chance of being in Chicago than McNabb. Philly wants to trade him to an AFC team (possibly Baltimore). Rex the Hex sucks and will be outta there next year. Brian Greasy wont be the starter, and I think they haven't seen enough of Kyle Orton to give him the keys yet. I say Pennington or a rookie, but they suck at drafting QB's. Think they can get Jim McMahon out of retirement?

I think Grossman is better than most make him out to be. The offensive coordinator needs to stop calling so many long bomb plays and take what the defense is giving with short routes underneath. If the Bears did elect to go for another QB next year, their best bet would be to look at Philadelphia. They have Donavan McNabb who is a native Chicagoan and they have Jeff Garcia, who makes far less mistakes than Grossman. Philly fans don't know what they want. At this point they are calling for Garcia to be their starter, the man whom they booed after he manned up stayed in the game after an injury, and led them to a victory. But who knows by training camp next season. Whichever one Philly would part with would be the best option for the Bears. They need mistake free football on the offense, because the D has it covered.

The Bears should definitely look into picking up Donovan McNabb. I still can't understand all of the negativity people spew when talking about the guy. He's a unique talent - and when he goes to a new team, with a new lease on life, he should be able to show it again. The question is, can he stay healthy? I hope so.

They'll draft a new "franchise" QB, and probably make a run at a free agent in the meantime. It wouldn't surprise me if they took a swing at Derek Anderson, but he's a restricted free agent, so the Bears would have to cough up a couple of draft picks to get him.

I could definetly see them trying to scoop up McNabb. I don't think they will go for a rookie. I think the better question is, "Who will the Bears start in McNaab's place when he is hurt after week 4."

I would LOVE to see McNaab on the bears - because i'm a Packers fan and McNaab is so overrated it's unbelieveable.
All he's good for is Chunky Soup Commercials and he even sucked at that.
Kyle Orton.

I'm thinking a rookie if they have a high enough pick. We'll just have to wait and see.
