An example of Bush's economic priorities...
A little over a month ago, $1.4 billion, a ten-fold increase, was given to Mexico to fight the "war on drugs", on top of the additional 196 billion for the wars in Iraq and Iran. But at the same time, when winter heating costs are expected to rise... the Bush administration CUT funding to the Home Heating programs that assist low-income families.

The week prior to cutting Home Heating programs, a $15 billion five-year contract was awarded to Blackwater because "The U.S. government reportedly wants to use contractors to help its allies thwart drug trafficking and provide equipment, training and people."

Not sure about your "experts"...
Nor do I worry too much about who is president when I'm working my butt-off,,,
But I just got a 13% raise and my average anual heating bill is 1% of my salary, so I'd say 11% is insignificant.

I'm sure Bush can hardly wait to get out of his measly little $400K job and get back into the Money Making Oil Industry

Lol.. what, do you think Bush can just get Big Energy on the horn and tell them they need to stop Screwing us out of Money?
If you do... then I would have to ask what your Democratic Congress is doing about it as well?
Oh.... I forgot... they are too busy arguing amongst eachother or persecuting the CIA for questioning Terrorists to bother with that issue.
What a joke of a question this is.

The test of the economy is not the price of oil or natural gas. It is whether the vast majority of people can afford it.

I wasn't aware that any President has ever set the price of fuel oil. It never ceases to amaze me how you guys blame President Bush for absolutely everything. If you woke up constipated tomorrow, I'm fairly confident you would blame the President.

Wow so now it is Bush's fault that the weather is colder and more people are using heat?
Gosh, Bush sure is powerful, I didn't know he could make the weather colder. Thanks for enlightening me.

that is very typical of the "Bush economy"... the costs of nearly everything going up far faster than the incomes of the average Americans.
