clark county courthouse. it's opened almost 24 hours a day. all you need is a form of id and all your info (parents' names, birthdays, your birthplace and date, etc). you fill out the paper work with these tiny little pencils, you walk up to the counter to verify everything, sign some papers and they print out the marriage license with the seal of nevada. you take that with you to the chapel and everyone signs it there (bride, groom and witnesses). and voila! married.
ADD: 55 for the license and the ceremony depends on where you plan on getting married. you can get away with a pretty cheap wedding - like 50 bucks or so. my wedding (at the stratosphere) costs under 300. of course there are many more expensive places to have your wedding, depending on what you want. check out the las vegas web site and they have a whole section on weddings. good luck!!! try not to stress too much, it's vegas and you're getting married!
ADD: there will be tons of people at clark county trying to get you to go to their chapels, don't listen to them (our cabbie warned us and we were prepared) - i absolutely, strongly encourage you to make plans before you get there, so you're on the right track.

The first thing you'll need is a marriage license from the Marriage Bureau, prior to your ceremony. The cost for the marriage license is $55 cash, and you will need one form of I.D., a driver's license, passport, or birth certificate. There are no blood tests or waiting periods.

you can print this out and fill it out and be one step ahead.

Simple, when you get to Vegas, go to the nearest Wedding chapel (You can look in the yelow pages). Once you get to the chapel and registrar, they will give you a map and directions to the court house to get your marriage license. You get your license that very day, take it to the chapel and get married. Simple.

The nearest wedding chapel should assist you with this.

Or

when you see an Elvis-clone, ask him. From what i've heard, they are the info-super-source with anything Vegas.

Best wishes!
