No!
Going to war with Iran would be incredibly stupid. First off, even though it may not seem as if Iran has many allies at the current moment, most of the countries in the Middle East have a common enemy if the US attacks Iran. The US currently has troops in at least Afganistan and Iraq. The Afganis and Iraqis are being supressed, and if Iran helps them in a revolt, chances are America is going to lose its hold in that country. Also if Iran is to attack America or vice versa, other countries that would have been overlooked would ally with Iran. America is dening Iran nukes. This also happened in North Korea and Cuba. Iran is also one of the leading sources of oil distibution to China. If Iran is willing to cut the price of oil they give to China then China could break away from its dependance on the US. If the US were to be destroyed, China would become one of the strongest nations in the world. Also the Pakistanis would most definitely side with the Iranians. The Saudi Arabians also would side with the Islamic Republic of Iran. When Saudi Arabia does this, without their oil, or any other Middle Eastern country's oil, the US's ecomony would go into a deep decline.
The President, Ahmadinejad, has said some stupid stuff and done stupid things, but can Americans really say Bush hasn't done the same? Ahmadinejad says what he feels is right, not nessecarily what all Iran feels is right. Also Ahmadinejad is not an influential person when it comes to Iran's desicions. Last time I checked, Bush has lied to the American people. In my opinion, it's better to have a president who shares his opinions, even if its in a very dramatic way, than to have a president who lies just to get backing to keep himself in power.
The propreganda in Washington is rediculous. Being fluent in both English and Farsi, I'm amazed at how horrible the American translators are! When translating Ahmadinejad's statements, they often change words or use synonems with slightly different meanings.
Even though it's been proven by the United States that Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapons program since 2003, what if they do have nukes? Why is the US the decider? The US has nuclear weapons and they haven't used then against the Pakistanis, what would nessecarily make Iran use them against the Israelis?
This also couldn't be considered a "war on terror." The US government has already released that 15 of the 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, 2 from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, one from Lebanon. That means none from Iraq, Iran or Afganistan. Also shouldn't America look more closely at the terrorists in its own countries before attacking others? Virgina tech is just one prime example of this.
On to WMD's. it has already been proven that Iraq, Iran, or Afganistan doesn't have any.
So what possible reasons do we have for invading Iran?
They "might" have nukes and "might" support terror.
If they are just going by what they "might" have, why doesn't the US attack Canada? Or any other country?
Iran is a nation like any other. It may have its extremists and radicals but all countries do. To me, they deserve the right to have alternate sources of power without harsh survaillence and sanctions, and by waging war on them, WW3 would pretty much start. Then again, I'm pretty biased on this whole thing :D

In my opinion, G.W. Bush has caused the tensions with Iran, because he had the opportunity to accept the Iranian Reform Government's unconditional offer to settle things, back in 2003 before the new nut job president of Iran came into power. Bush continues to sit on his throne with his rhetoric which inflames the situation & does not cure it. In my mind, this is just one example of his being a spoiled lazy brat.
NO!! I would not support this president in this matter or any other matter, because he is incompetent & doesn't do what he is suppose to do, ie, provide for the common defense, promote the domestic tranquility, enforce the existing laws, & protect our borders from illegals so we dont have to spy on our own citizens. I will be most glad to see this worst president gone from office. But on the other hand, I dont see anybody else out there running who is much better. Our country has gone to hell in a hand basket.

Right now? I wouldn't agree on the timing, but once we are at war, I would not hesitate to use every power available to me in order to stay on the dry side of the boat.
We don't need to go to war in Iran in order to achieve our geopolitical objectives; all it takes is destabilization- which our intelligence agencies are very good at; if we went to war, it was for an obvious and right reason.

No way, our soldiers have enough going on without starting another war, Iran wouldn't just take us invading their country like Iraq has, they'd be out to get us. So would N. Vietnam and China, I don't think it's a good idea.

Absolutely not.
We've already made a total balls-up of Afghanistan and Iraq and will have our hands full there for the next 20 years or so.
No need to make things worse.

Absolutely,. Iran is run by a bunch of Islamo-facists who export terror and have been a thorn in the world's side for 30 years.
They could drop an H-bomb on Tehran and it wouldn't mess up my day one iota.

NO! Bush has made it quite clear that you doesn't not have the ability nor the intelligence to wage a clean and effective war. Why should Americans be stupid and never learn....if the dog doesn't learn the first few times, he'll never learn.
