The gifts are not mixed up.
What should the wife do. Should she confront her husband or smile sweetly and say thankyou.?
After all, Dont society portray women in the role of being sweet?

I would be mad if I got a gift card from anywhere.
I would be mad if my husband spent any money on anyone without my knowledge and consent.
I would be mad if my husband spent $500 on anything without my knowledge and consent.
I would be mad if my husband was sneaking around for any reason.
I would be mad if he wouldn't answer me.
But for all these on top of each other, I would soon get over being mad fairly quickly, and be getting alimony instead.

I am guessing that fortunoff is an expensive store, never heard of it before.
Any who, I would be upset. All though it is the thought that counts, a husband should be spending more money on his wife or g/f than just a friend. Not fair in the least.

That bastard needs to be exposed! The wife should be furious. Too many men leave their wives and later end up with their wives' best friends. It's wrong and immoral and what was he doing buying her a present in the first place???

Never heard of Fortunoff, but like you say, if it was worth 500 bucks and you get something worth 20 bucks from WM then yes I would be very mad. That would show me that he is more interested in my friend rather then me. I would prob. leave him......that is very messed up!
