That is a great question. I was wondering about this. You
know you always hear, and from mostly White Americans
too. That Republicans don't care about Black folks. What
is with the great divide here ? Where and how did this all
happen concerning the GOP ? Black Republicans have a
hard time, getting elected because of the way, some
Black Americans see them. If Obama, was a Repub, he
would not be as popular as he is, today. So I wanna
know. Does this offend Republicans, when you hear
people say this, over and over again ? That the GOP,
does not care about people of color. Meaning Blacks
mainly. But Hispanics, and others as well. They count
too ya know..... Best answer wins.

They say that the Democratic are more
politically in tune, when it comes
to race matters. So they are automatically deemed, the party of
minorities, and civil rights leaders.

Not at all.

I am Hispanic and a Republican, I never had a problem with that.

The only time it was an issue was in college when some one got in my face and screamed I was a "race traitor" for not being a democrat or liberal.

I never understood it my self. Republicans, the ones I know at least don't care about skin color. the only requirement as far as I know is you have to believe in being self sufficient and responsible for your own actions.

It seems most liberals think being a self sufficient minority is bad.

I say, it extremely isn't any diverse than the Democrat applicants refusing to take part in a debate on Fox information. They understand that extra often than not conservatives watch Fox. Why marketing campaign to a constituency it extremely is lifeless set against you? Republicans understand that maximum Blacks are strongly Democrat-leaning and maximum are not going to alter. The jury remains out on Latinos (some say they vote heavily Democrat, others say Republican -- i do no longer understand) yet that determination possibly had extra to do with playing to the Republican base and not being perceieved to help unlawful immigration or the erosion of English in u.s.. Why lose the votes you have already got? final analysis, the determination to no longer look on Univision and at Morgan State college replaced right into a political calculation, no longer an occasion of racial discrimination.

I don't know if other Republicans are offended I'm not. When I was still in the work force some of the most racist people that I came in contact with were die hard Democrats and the people trying to keep racism out of the work place were Republicans.

Liberals and democrats want to view minorities as "Handi-capable". They want to believe that minorities can only survive with government assistance. Conservatives and Republicans want everyone to stand on their own two feet. This view might seem uncaring to some bleeding hearts but I believe it is closer to what Dr. King wanted when he said, "a man should not be judged by the color of his skin but the content of his character."

And yes it does offend me! Who says their are no Black Republicans? I know many!

Of course it offends me because they label us without bothering to find out about what we believe in. Because Republicans feel that blacks and other minorities should stand on their own two feet and not have government get in the way of that, we are labeled racist or that we just dont care. I support people on their politics, not by the color of their skin.

Don't think so.
After having staying together for so long?
Just fun time towards the election.
When everyone is having fun.
So no hard feelings.
Only the best man win.
After all there's only one top seat available.
Why live in misery.
Join in the fun in the real world.
What do you think?

It's a giant lie when Liberals say Republicans hate people of color. I would vote for ANYone from ANYrace that had the best interests of ALL Americans at heart. The Liberal party is dependant on minorities for votes and they play the race card all the time!!!

republicans don't care about anyone but rich white men. period. since that excludes the other 9/10ths of the country it's easy to see why they had to rig the election for Bush to get into office.

Not at all- but Republicans preach self reliance and personal accountability and morals- many people of color have been brainwashed by liberals to believe that anything bad that happens to them in life is somebody else's fault.

This on top of the Democratic welfare system that keeps them hostage-ie just enough to survive- not enough to better themselves- keeps these poor people oppressed- and voting Dummycratic so they can continue to live on the handouts the liberals let trickle down to them.
