They have been married for 7 1/2 years but separated for 4 years and he is about to remarry in May i think. She has not been faithful to him at all and they had to get a DNA test on their youngest. He has been paying child support for their two kids for the past 4 years(since they have been separated). How does he stop her from being a gold digger?

If they were married only 7.5 years she would not get half of his retirement. She might get a precentage, but if he worked 30 years and only 1/4 of that time was he married to her, she should be limited to one half of that 1/4 of his pension which would be an 1/8th.

I don't know the laws in Arkansas, but in many states, she would only be entitled to 1/2 of any of the retirement fund earned while they were married. Anything accrued before the marriage or afterward she has no right to claim. He can pay off her portion, which would be cheaper to do now than in another 20 years with all of the interest her portion will accrue.

Also, if they were legally seperated (which requires a legal document to be filed, just like a divorce), then she would not have a claim to any of the retirement funds earned from the date of the legal seperation, or any claim to any assets gained during that period. However, if they were just not living together, but did not get a legal seperation, she has a claim on any assets accrued until the divorce is filed.

What he needs is a really good lawyer to sue for a reduction in the support settlement.

And for God's sake ! did he not learn his lesson the first time? Why on earth would he want to get married again?

So he can have 2 ex-wives 6 kids to support and no retirement?

Need to get a lawyer and keep the retirement out of the divorce. I would get papers file immediately so she cant get more of his stuff. But just because they are getting divorced dont mean she will get half of everything. Just fight that and compromise on other things...but it will be 50/50 on most things overall.
