Griffey is one of the good guys and you won't see his name on any list. If it wasn't for the injuries to this point in his career he would be close to Bonds like numbers. He is a great player, great in the clubhouse, and an asset to the game of baseball.

Ken Griffey Jr. is a great player and one of the good guys in the world. I don't see his name on any of the lists of steroid users. I was sorry to see him leave Seattle, though I am still a fan of his.

I would compare Griffey to Barry Sanders of the NFL ( Detroit Lions), but same outcome different path. They both loved the game, were great at what they did, wouldve been the greatest, but situations prohibited. Griffey with his ongoing injuries wouldve surpassed the home run record, and Barry's trash teammates that played with him and the lost of love for the game through out the decade of losing records he played.

no, griffey absolutely did not take, he is far to classy to ever do something like that, yeah thats right all you criers of racism, i called a black player classy!!!!
mcguire and sosa undoubtedly took steroids, you ever seen a white sox rookie card of sosa? it looks a lot like a rookie card of bonds, ill tell you that
no griffey is one of the good guys, and had he not had injury problems for a few years, chances are, hes be the one with the home run record, at least then wed have a home run champ worthy of the title

His career has been totally clean because if you notice after his injuries, he stays injured for the typical healing time unlike the other players that took steroids and healed quicker.
Ken Griffey is a favorite player of mine and I believe that his career will not even have any mention of steroids or drug suspicions because he chose to remain clean.

He is so clean, natural things like injuries have actually derailed portions of his career. A great talent - one of the most gifted athletes to put on a MLB uniform - but his body betrayed him becuase he strived to perform at such a high level over an entire season.

It seems like most people are in agreement here, he was a great player who could have been even better, but he always had some kind of injury nagging him, especially that damn shoulder. But everything he did, I beleive he did it clean and fair. His work ethic was something other players always complimented him on, that is how he stayed good, even through the injuries.

i loved griffey jr... he may have been the best player of the era if he would have used drugs, and a lot of players that played with him think he would have been the best player ever if he would have just hit the gym
