Be careful! The great and powerful Oz doesn't like it when you peak behind the curtain. I don't really think your statement applies to mainstream Democrats, but it is definitely relevant in the case of liberals. Liberals are among the most intolerant people on the planet. They are quick to point out the faults of others, but woefully lax in noticing their own shortcomings. One of the prime illustrations of this truism is how they always seek to draw distinctions between people in order to create victim classes. The reality is that liberals do not believe that the playing field is level, they do not believe that life is fair and they certainly do not believe that people can thrive on their own through hard work and perseverance. Instead they hold the opinion that only they know what is best for the world and the only path to success for anyone they proclaim as a victim is with their self perceived benevolent guidance and support.

You notice a modern paradox. That we have created a supposedly colour-blind country, yet we retain lobbyists and such-like who appeal to the voters by highlighting their skin colour or gender, and promise special favours therefrom.

According to the dems if make a negative comment about anyone who is considered a minority it is racism, even if the person is a morally disgusting person. They don't seem to know the difference between racism and a personal opinion.

Wherever did you get that idea? It is certainly a false idea if I had to judge by the Dems I know. Just another divisive argument put out by the republican propagandists.

we're not focusing on the race and gender... we're focusing on the content of their character...
it's you and others like you who keep bringing up the race and gender of the two leading democratic candidates.
if i were voting based on those things...i'd be just as prone to respect elizabeth dole, colon powell, alan keyes and other republicans...but i never would.
are YOU racist and sexist to assume that women and African Americans are ONLY democrats.
