Good old days a mouse smells a cat and it runs to hide.
YOU HAVE NOT HEARD.To day's news, a mouse is just in front of a cat, like other animal The photograph shows the mouse hardly is 10 inches of distance,THIS SEEMS TO BE BY scientists.

Most likely I would be hiding in a dark place that appeared safe to me. Keep in mind this might not be considered as "safe" by a human, but put yourself in mouse perspective.
May I suggest a mouse would hide in a cabinet, a closet, or underneath furniture such as a sofa.
