As my Grandmother always used to say"kill "em with Kindness" Violence is not the best answer, that is what the critic would be expecting, besides, are a few critical words towards your brownies worth you going to jail over? not to mention, he sounds like the school bully type and the kind of person that would be the first to put you in jail, he is only doing it to get a rise/reaction out of you, don't give him the satisfaction, ignore the comments because if you know that the brownies are good, then that's all that matters, eventually, when the critic sees that his comments no longer bother you, he won't make them anymore.

When you say "caramel brownies" I would wonder if he might be suggesting some kind of deviant sexual activity.
Ask him if he has a secret fudge fetish and take it from there. Then once you find out his S&M interests you can determine what level of violence might be appropriate.

Physical violence is definitely appropriate, and use of a deadly weapon would not be frowned upon. May I suggest a baseball bat?

once I went out with a team of guy buddies and that they had ask a woman to bounce, if the lady reported "no", he'd say, "sorry, yet you are able to desire to have omit understood me, I reported "You look extremely fats in those pants"..
