I have had and probably still have it. Discharge and pain during sex and bleeding after sex was worsening every day. So i went to the doctor, diagnosed chlamydia. took several sorts of antibiotics until finally after two years of testing antibiotics, i got one which worked and hit chlamydia. But bleeing and pain during sex continued so i went to the doctor again who decided to proceed with cauterizing the cervix.
Well, after this procedure, which happened over a year ago, i still have pain during sex and bleeding (well although less). This made me feel so uncomfortable and disappointed that i stopped sex. It is just no fun anymore. It hurts and with all that bleeding.... just, stopped it. My boyfriend is still with me, I wonder how long he will stand this. ...
I do not want to discourage you, but i think that chlamydia is sometimes underestimated. It is so important to be healed before it gets too late. Good luck to you, i hope you have better luck than me. For me, it seems that love life has ended for good and i am only 36.

my sis had it 3 different times, but she caught it right away. the best thing i could tell you, is talk to your doc. and tell anyone you've been with in the last year, and oh yeah hun next time use a condom, thats the exact reason they invented them, so you don't get stds. always remember no glove no love ok.

untreated, chlamydia can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, suggest you need to be talking to your doctor with your questions, and you need to notify all of your sexual partners of the past year.
