The book actually has 6 different editions - he draws dozens of conclusions - a little too much to summarize here. You can read it online - the table of contents gives you an idea of the types of things he addressed, and there is a summary.

It's the most amazing book ever - you should read it.
It lays down the theories for modern evolutionary theory, in a surprisingly accessible way for the period...
His conclusion was that evolution exists!
(sorry, not doing your homework for you - but enjoy the book, it's so worth the read. :) )
