I am going to the movies with a bunch of frinds to see I am Legend today,because i think it will he one awesome movie (if its long enough) if its not long enough it will really ruin the whole thing ...is anyone else going and why and whats ur prediction of how good the movie will be?

It's about 1:47 and it is good. they stuck to the original story well enough.

...in fact, I'm making a bee line to the nearest theater, which is featuring the film, right after I get off work, this afternoon; I'm looking forward to seeing how closely the filmmakers stick to author Richard Matheson's original (...and quite gripping) novel. As you may or may not know, the story has been filmed twice before...once in 1966, entitled "The Last Man on Earth", and starring Vincent Price (...probably the closest adaptation), and once again, in 1972, with Charleton Heston starring in "The Omega Man" (...a more sci-fi approach to the story)...
...I predict that the film should be a very respectable holiday movie season tentpole; it's garnished quite a bit of publicity and advertising, without really giving away too much, and let's not forget, there's hardly been a high profile Will Smith film, which hasn't wrought an outstanding box office return (...uh, can you say "Wild Wild West"???)...

I plan to go as soon as possible...Might scare me to death, but hey, nice idea. I'll have to read the book as well. I think it's going to be absolutely awesome!
