How do you know you were actually speaking to his mother? It could have been him under a different screen name.
Just because you're on a Christian site doesn't mean the site is predator free. Some folks are looking for a free ride in life and who's a better victim than a cheek turning christian?
Sorry, but it's true.
How do you plan on meeting this person?
And just because you feel "chemistry" on line doesn't mean you'll get the same feeling in person. (This happens a lot with internet dating sites.)
Stick with someone that lives nearby.......someone that's more readily available to go to a movie or out to eat. One that you can hang out with and get to know on a one to one basis.

Very few of these work out. Unless either one is willing to move to the other country, why bother going through the grief of loving someone who is so far away when you can just date a local in the first place?

Desperation time for you.... newest scam on how to become a US citizen... lure someone like you, you go to their country, they marry you, they come to the US, and in three years to the day, you are given divorce papers, and all of them have US citizenship and you have given way three years of your time when you could have spent it finding someone sincere........ oh, good. Trust me. Or call Immigration if you don't believe me.

sometimes they do, I think, but, in my experience, any man who contacted me from another country just wanted to be able to live in the USA, and was willing to marry to get to be able to come to the USA... I am in the USA... I never fell for any of these "fake men"...

Well, I have no experience with online dating, but I have seen my dad who did it once with a female from Colombia and let me tell you. She was all fake, she was all about the money, and wanted to just get her papers to become a U.S. citizen. He dumped her...........
