The end of the selotape!!! I know it was there before and now I can't find it. Has this ever happened to you and did you find it?

yes it happened to me JUST before... i was helpin my mum wrap all the presents up and i took ages to find it... why do mums get so stressed about selotape? shes bloody crazy! lol x ps she was fartin aswel

All of the suggestions are good. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" suggestions: When you tear off the piece fold over the end so the end doesn't get lost being stuck to the roll.
For wide rolls I use a plastic piece fastener from bread on the end piece to keep it easily accessible.

Yeh - and then when you do find it and try to peel it back - it splits and you keep going all the way round and round until one side of the roll is twice as thick as the other side and you give up and go buy a new one.

Just remember it's always at the beginning of the roll. Don't look for the end.

Yes. Use a thumbnail to gently go round the tape roll and you should feel it- if not try the other direction.

I always fold the end down to make a tab so I can easily get to it the next time.

I HATE that! just run your fingernail around it until it hooks on the end... you'll probably end up going around the roll 30 times before you find it :) good luck!
