To get the reciprocal of a simple fraction, just swap the numerator and denominator. Reciprocal of a/b is b/a. That answers 1-5.
Ex: Reciprocal of 1/2 is 2/1=1, Reciprocal of 3/4 is 4/3.
For a mixed fraction, first put it in simple fraction form, then do as above. a b/c = (a*c+b)/c. Reciprocal is c/(a*c+b).
Ex: Reciprocal of 1 1/4. Convert to simple fraction, 5/4. Reciprocal of 5/4 is 4/5.

x * (reciprocal of x) = 1, so reciprocal = 1/x.
All you have to do is divide one by the number. E.g.,
1. reciprocal of 1 = 1/(1/2) = 2
If the number is a compound number, convert it to an improper fraction first. E.g.,
1 1/4 = 5/4
And, BIG HINT, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the upside-down fraction. E.g.,
1/(3/4) = 1*(4/3)

Simply invert. If they are mixed fractions, turn them into improper fractions, then invert. Then convert back to mixed fractions as necessary.
PROBLEM 1:
1/2 --> 2/1
= 2
PROBLEM 2:
3/4 --> 4/3
= 1 1/3
PROBLEM 3:
7/8 --> 8/7

PROBLEM 5:
You can do these now.
PROBLEM 6:
1 1/4
