ha ha... Although, i'll also go and leave a smutty comment if i gave a really good answer and some other, crappy answer got picked as Best.
I'll say something like, "my answer was 10 times better..."
lol.

Yep, always. ^_^ If someone is actually going to take the time out of their day to *pick a Best Answer* versus letting it go to a vote, then yes, they deserve at least a thank-you note if nothing else. And this is especially true if they pick *my* answer of course....*lol*.... ^_^
But yeah, if I get Chosen as Best Answer, I always leave a thank-you note. It may take a day or so, but I do.
As for leaving snarky comments....I've only done this once or twice. Mainly it happens when I go through the trouble to write a few paragraphs in my Answer, *Including Links*, doing my best to cough up a helpful, factual Answer....only to have some *retarded one-liner* get picked. It does annoy me sometimes, that I put in the work, only to get shut out by something like "idk, google it maybe?"
These days I just try to avoid that mess though. I know where people have a habit of doing that, and I just don't answer things there as much anymore.
