You're in a public restroom (at work, say) and you have your period. You take your applicator tampon out of the wrapper and then accidentally drop it on the floor. It's the only one you have. Would you still use it?

Oh, and what I did was - I very carefully removed it from the applicator, because the inside hadn't touched the floor! Cunning, eh?

It may have been inside the applicator, but I don't think that's going to prevent germs from getting on it. If I was at work, I'd create a makeshift pad with toilet paper and find a friend who may have something for me to use. Otherwise, I'd tell my boss I'm having serious female issues and need to go to the pharmacy ASAP. (My boss is grossed out by eyebrow waxing, so that would be enough detail for him to offer to drive me there, lol.)

No I wouldn't use it. If I was at work I'd just get a new one out of the machine. If a new one is unavailable, I'm using toilet paper. Nothing off a public bathroom's floor is going in my body!

NO DO YOU WANT TSS????? thats just asking for tss yeast infections and all sorts of other infections ew!! people get pee and dirt and trash on those floors yuck i would just get a whole bunch of toylet paper and put it in your under where (NOT IN YOUR VAGINA it probably has germs on it to plus it shreds and leavs part of the toylet paper in there and that will give you infections) and tell your boss youll be right back run to the neerest store to get a package

Well I couldn't get one out of the machine because they are usually never filled. So I would just use the tampon and chock it up to another one of the annoying things us girls have to put up during the month.

are you sick? how do you want to use it??? it's full of germs from the minute it gets on the floor!! and the blood is a very good environment to grow germs. you'll have severe problems if you make that stupid thing. always take 2 with you, you never now what could happen, but never, i say NEVER take it from the floor and use it if it's unwrapped when it felt. ok? take care :P

no definitly not! It is contaminated and you could possibly end up with an internal infection! What would I do?? Well I know this may sound dumb but you could wrap some toilet paper to make a "quick" tampax until you can get another one

I'll tell my daughters not to use dropped tampoons coz it have picked-up some harmful bacterias from the floor which may cause vaginal infection.

no i wouldn't. if i was comfortable with other women i worked with. i would ask them if they had one to loan me if i couldn't run out to the store or get one out of a machine.
