I was stopped in Nevada once . . . In fact, it was over 10 years ago . . . And the last time that I even saw a state-traffic cop on the Interstate . . . It was @ night . . . And he asked me if I could see him hidden inside the convoy of trucks that I passed . . . I passed several @ the speed of 86-MPH and that is why he stopped me. He was laughing . . . We both laughed and talked about it for a while then I went on to the East Coast, unmolested by any more Barny Fife and Company. Anyway, I found out later that the state legislators would punish cops who issued out-of-staters speeding tickets. It was against their State's policy in the state of Nevada.

I've been pulled over by the cops before and thought "Wow, I'm going to get on the news."

Yes sir! Once, in my wild younger years me and this guy I was cool with were drivin around smokin and drinkin (hey, I said younger years dammit!!! I KNOW BETTER NOW). We had open liquor, weed in the air, you name it!!! They had one of those seat belt, safety check stops they sometimes do and they usually stop every other car for random checks. I was so scared (not to mention paranoid from the weed)!!! We hurrily put on our seatbelts, died out the blunt, sprayed the card down and hoped and prayed we wouldnt be the unlucky bastards that got pulled over. THANK GOODNESS THEY JUST WAVED US OFF!!!!

yyyyep...when i got my DUI...well i suppose i did lol. although b/c i was cooperative, a female AND not intoxicated (i blew a .09, 100th of a point over the legal limit) they were pretty cool. I got to sit up front in the cab of the cruiser with the cop and bull shitted with him. Wasn't even put in the drunk tank. eh, whatcha gonna do...it was a bunch of BS that i was convicted of a DUI (i tried to fight it) but the law is the law i suppose.

LOL... Yeah, it really help when you know most of the cops in your town and have dirt on all of them.
Kinda like a get out of jail free card.

Sure, I even got cuffed and put in the back.. Fortunately, someone was able to come and get me, so I didn't end up in jail for the night. Don't drink and drive, kids... if nothing else, being arrested for it isn't much fun.

i don't drive but onetime a cop was behind my mom and i and all of a sudden his siren went off and i started flipping out because i thought that we were going to jail

OMG! thats what ended up happening to me on my way home from working 3rd shift as a Nurses Aide. (many moons ago)
seems i had a warrant out for my arrest ,and didn't know it.
