Hey everyone,
I'm trying to find more songs that I may like from different movie soundtracks, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I like songs that are melodic and tend to build and soar throughout the piece. Examples of soundtracks and songs that I can think of off the top of my head are :
Blood Diamond - Thought I'd Never Call
Edward Scissorhands - The Ice Dance, Prologue
Star Wars - Across the Stars
Lord of the Rings - The Breaking of the Fellowship, The Ring Goes South
Gladiator - Now We Are Free, Strength and Honor
Pan's Labyrinth - Long Long Time Ago, The Funeral,
Schindler's List - Theme Song
Jurassic Park - Theme Song
Brokeback Mountain - Riding Horses
The Illusionist
Donnie Darko
The Last of the Mohicans
And I can't think of anymore at this moment. Anyways, if anyone could help me out by giving me suggestions then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. =)

The Lord of the rings Trilogy. All three have great soundtrack!!
Pirates of the Carribean- the first movie- that's great too...
Spiderman's second movie (can't remember the name) but it has quite good music...
The Last Mohican... I still remember its music for after so long years... Definitely I recommend it...
Hope you'll enjoy them too....

The soundtrack of Brokeback Mountain is great.
Then there is the soundtrack of 'Dead Man', a movie with Johnny Depp. It has poetry reading and music by Neil Young. It's quite different from most movie soundtracks since there's almost no singing.

Sleepless in Seattle has a very good soundtrack, as well as, Dirty Dancing. However, I like all those oldies songs and love songs.
