there is a rumor that the Houston Astros are interested in Mark Prior.....if he gets healthy to what he was at once..how good would the Astros look with Oswalt and Prior?

Not that much better... The key is that he'll never go back to what he once was... Dusty Baker ruined his arm... Oh crap... He's managing Homer Bailey now...

If he is healthy is the key statement. He has not been able to perform during the past three or four years and I have not seen anything to indicate any differently. It is a real long shot if the Astros take a chance on Prior and I wouldn't expect any help from him at all at this point in time.

Prior is not to be resigned by the Cubs. I see there being alot of teams on his bandwagon for a 1 yr deal and incentive loaded contract. I am sure the Stros are interested but I am sure there will be 15 other teams that will have interest

That's a huge if, plus he hasnt pitched a full season in like 3 years. There's no way he makes it through the whole year, he might come on strong in the beginning,but will definately taper off towards the end, maybe in two or three years he can return, but by then he might have thrown himself into retirement.
