We have to marks in school, one is based on exams, and the other is partially based on our "oral contribution and participation" in class. So how can I force myself to contribute more orally to class?

I am just like you. I dont ever answer questions and i get marked down for that. I just try to fight the "embarassment" of answering questions, after all other people do it and nothing happens to them lol x x x x x x

First of all make sure that you will not get distracted when the class starts. Try and get a seat in the front and give the teacher your full attention. try to fully understand what is going on. Answer and even ask lots of questions. Hey, when you ask, it shows you are interested. Your teacher will notice this. Just try your hardest. Hope I helped! :)

Make sure you try and answer at least one question a day. Ask any questions you have, there's nothing wrong with that. Talk to the teacher.

Don't disappear into the rest of the class, stand out as someone that looks like they care. Even if you don't care, look like it.
