Just dont call the county as suggested.. They will require A water test, when it is simply sulpher..we have the same here where I live...The county has made a few people here in the area do away with thier wells, and not due to contamination, but due to for thier future so called improvments later on in time( none planned at the time), for they know they legally have to do thier improvements so far for anyones particular water table/supply...now they have generated by laws to get around this "for the better of the community" if they ever need to add more services and obtain more money from us...Don't let this happen to you..however I still have my well..and a Smith and Wesson too.

It's more than likely from the water heater. Turn the washer on with cold water only and turn the shower on cold only and determine if the odor is less. ( No, I don't mean take a cold shower, well not unless you need one.)

Are you getting well water? I live in the country and get well water. We went through this and I called the county and they came out and fixed it. All the water smelled, shower, washing machine, it was very annoying. Call the county!

we tryed filters up at the hunting camp but the only way it really got fixed was we paid 3000 bucks to get the well drilled deeper by 400 feet and it comes out nice and wonderful now without filters!

you can tone it down some with a water softner, but won't get rid of it completely. sulfur water is the pits. stinks, and tastes funny. turns some good jewelry black, be careful.
