Rudolph and Hermie don't sing "fame and fortune" anymore? They replaced it with "we're a couple of misfits" which is redundant at best. Fame and Fortune was my favorite song in the movie!

It so bugs me!!! I am annoyed that the '05 dvd only has it as an extra. Why didn't they just put both versions on the dvd - there's plenty of room on a dvd for this. The "fame and fortune" song is so optimistic that the two new friends can take on anything, the other song is kind of negative. I hope it isn't someone's corporate plan to make more $$$ by later selling the "fame and fortune" version, 'cause that's not very Christmassy!

ya its only a special feature on the DVD now. the reason that they took out fame and fortune is because the original movie had we're a couple of misfits was the original song that was replaced by fame and fortune i think 4 years after it was on air and now they put the original song back because i guess they think original is best

I haven't watched it in years (not since my son grew up into a pre-teen who thinks it's too babyish to watch).
