If it were me, I would want to receive the perfume that I liked. Perfumes smell differently on different people so without actually smelling the perfume on the person, it is impossible to tell if it would "fit" the person or even by liked by the person wearing it. That is why most women, that I know, use the same perfume all the time, usually for the rest of their lives (if they can still get it). My Mom has used her perfume for over 60 years,I have used mine for almost 25 years, and all of the other women I know have used their perfume for years and years also.
I am curious as to why you are looking for a new one to get her. Didn't you like the scent on her? Or did she say she wanted a change?

You should follow whatever customary practices you have become comfortable with, but most ladies put perfume behind the ear or in the elbow. I've not seen one put it in her stocking, but we can always learn, and I shall suggest it to my wife this very morning.
Without jokes, it's a perfect gift if you pick a scent that YOU like. The wearer in a short time loses the ability to appreciate her own perfume. Merry Christmas

get her a classic chanel perfume!
i know many people who have chanel perfumes, you cant go wrong with chanel!
but, at the end of the day, perfumes are kinda personal. I believe you shouldnt buy people perfumes, because people can be very picky about it. We dont know what type of person she is, her style, her personality, so how can we choose a perfume? If i were you, i wouldnt buy perfume, but hey u never know.. ! :p

Eau du Soir by Sisley is amazing and my favorite perfume. Anything by Guerlain, GRES, and Annick Goutal are good choices.

Zilch. I mean no perfume. It kills my breathing off, My asthma kicks in, its gross to see me spew up lung muck. whitish yuck stuff.
Choose something else. Like new winter leather gloves.
