You don't see a problem with a theory that Democrats in three states are out to destroy Hillary? Ok suppose you are right and these Democrats hate her this much.....how does this translate into a win for her in the general election when her own party hates her?

If Obama wins Iowa, NH, and SC its over for Hillary. To believe other than that is, in fact, naive. His bounce will be HUGE. Call me naive as you do but I do not believe the majority of Democrats in other states think there is a three state Democratic conspiracy to ruin Hillary. Her numbers are dropping significantly in all polls (not just in those three states...and if Obama wins those three states its going to get much much worse for her).

It's mostly tradition. Old time politicians and the news media used the early starters to hype everyone else - jazz people up. And, guess what, we all fell for it just as we do now. This time 4 years ago, everyone expected Howard Dean to be next president. Mostly due to hype.

You don't understand how it works. The early states that caucus get to choose the nominee.
