We have some new neighbors and they are really nice. They invited us to their house for dinner the other night and they asked us about how we celebrate Christmas. Since I am Pagan I told them about Yule. I would like to get them something for Yule that would be Muslim appropriate for the husband and wife and then something for their kids. She loves to read and he likes to build stuff. I thought of giving him a gift card to Home Depot since the house they bought needs some minor fixing up, but what would be an appropriate read that wouldn't offend and then something to give for the kids? I will not be home for Yule since we celebrate out of town with family.
Please, to those that have hate comments, keep them to yourself. Please star to your friends so I may have enough ideas.

You shouldn't get a statue of Allah as images and statues of him or Muhammed are not allowed. For the wife, perhaphs a book like Cecelia Ahern's "A Place Called Here" or "PS I Love You" Anything will do, they're completely normal people! Just maybe don't get her a raunchy book!
For the children, perhaphs a board game if they are young, or if they are older, maybe some gift vouchers for Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins..etc..
Whatever you buy its the thought that counts, if they're geniunly nice they will be happy with whatever you get them!

Mum=Nice Perfume, if no, then a nice gift would do, sainsburys(voucher)...
Dad=Maybe what you said, or a set of tools.
Kids= Games if they play, or an instrument...(musical instrument)...

give them a statue of Allah like those of the Catholic equivalent of their Saint figures. And teach them your beliefs.
