just tell her. she'll 'get' it. lol but, be prepared for her to start crying and hug you, and congratulate you... ask her to go with you to get tampons or pads. her reaction is something you'll remember forever. lol

just email it to her or say mom we need to go to the store if she says why or latter just say cuz i really need pads/tampons shell get the message or say hey mom imhaveing female ishues make sure your alone when you say it you dont want your 5 year old brother listening if you know whati mean theres nothing wrong with useing tampons when you first start just get the right obsorbancy and and change them often they dont hurt virgins like some peoplesay you cant even feel them!! and your still a virgin after you use them some people say that you use your virginity by useing them thats a lie you only lose your virginity if you have sex with a guy there cotten not men

your mums going to be expecting it some time sooner or later. It is not like telling ur mum that u r pregnant.
I found it easier to ring up my big sister when i found out because i didn't have a clue what to do with myself.
Just literally flat out say "mum i've started my period" she wont care. She wont be embaressed. It will be fine xx

your mom has periods too kiddo, it's nothing new to her. Just tell her..."mom, I've started my period". It's not a big deal.

Sweety, just say outright to her. Shes had them to, so it is nothing to be embarrased about. && if you do feel embarrased, tell yourself, whats a couple of minutes embarrasment when my mom is going to help me? xxx

I just came out and said it. I knew I had to, cause I needed ...supplies... and didn't have any money and wasn't allowed into town anyway.
I told her and she said ''DID YOU BLEED?"....... =P
She knows it's gonna happen one day.
