Do you have some private land that you have permision to ride on first or are you planning to take it down the park and anoy everyone and risk being arrested for allowing a minor to ride a vehical with no licence tax or insurance. Does your son also like hospitol food and can you live with yourself knowing you may be responsible for putting him there. Is it him who wants one or you who wants him to have one. The reason they designed battery quads are for this purpose

No one with even half a brain would recommend a quad bike for a six year old. Even I wouldn't and I'm pretty irresponsible!

Children can be safe as houses on a suitable quad so long as they are well suited. The yamaha yfm50 is ok but is a four stoke im afraid here's a link any way.

Theres also a number of small yamaha's and suzuki's that are a little older but im unsure of the names. Remember small! Walk before you run.

the market for mini-quads and mini-bikes is huge right now, its hard to recommend just one. all the big names (honda, yamaha, polaris) put them out. and now there are some smaller names making mini bikes only, like wildfire for instance. why do you only want a 2 stroke?
-i may have misunderstood your question at first. i would recommend it, don't listen to the haters, just make sure you get him/her a helmet too, and boots!

Not anyone with any amount of intelligence! 6 is far too young to be placed into an environment which deals with any form of motorized machinery! Of course if you really dislike your child, that might be an excellent way of injuring or killing them........

Don't be so rediculous. Why would you buy that for your 6 year old?

Why don't you work him up to that. Maybe this year you could get him a tree saw. If he can handle the responsibility, then maybe next year.
