how is geometry related to art. please let me know in details.

Geometry and art are related because the shapes in geometry are used in art. Like a painting of a house right...A drawing of a house has squares and sometime triangles. Now art is related to geometry because what makes a square is the four 90 degree angles.

So basically to sum it all up...

Without the 4 angles and 90 degrees there is no square...
Without the square there is no house...
Without the house there is no painting or art...

That is as simple as I can explain it.

It depends.

There is something called geometric art and that would be any kind of art that emphasizes the beauty of math, and how shapes fit together to make beautiful images.

But in general, art has nothing to do with math. Artists would sometimes like to consider themselves scientifically based, by including there departments with science at Universities. But that is hog wash.

Fractals are probably the best example of math in art.

Perspective, vanishing points, golden ratio, isometrics, are just a few realtios of geometry to art.
