I wouldn't have married so young. I would still marry the same person but I would have had a few more years just to be foolish.

I would have taken more chances and not been so content to leave things until tomorrow

Hello Lord Elvis of Paisley,

I have blunder along through this life..the list would be to long to even post on a message board....the idea that you are suppose to live your life like everyday might be your last...to do the very best you can at everything you do... I have failed miserably many times over.....but if I could turn back the hands of time ..Aug. 11,1983, Oct.12,1986,Dec 5,1993, May 22,1994,May 23,1994,July 27,1996,Sept.17,1998 ,Sept.11,2001...on these dates I would do everything humanly possible to make the outcome different for some..and if I couldn't... than I would at least verbally told some how much that they meant to me and how I loved them or said it more often....not relied and hoped my actions were enough to let them know......

as you can tell I am old-er ...I have been very lucky and blessed even with all my blunderings ..there is a lot of good I would never change...but ,there is many unforeseen things that might have been changed if one would have known... ...I can see hundreds of things that I could have done differently...but it always come back to I didn't.....I don't know if a person can get through this life without having regret...I sure haven't managed.. but all one can do is learn from the mistakes and try and do better..........

sorry, I didn't mean to go on...it just your question seems to come to my mind often and I am in a kind of morbid mood today..

( my best friend in high school, a boy who was more brother to me than my own,my grandmother,my mom, friend, grandfather, father-in-law ,friends....these are the dates listed above of their untimely deaths ..all were sudden and none of natural causes... your life really can change in a blink of the eye ... )

Although I value my experiences as a teenager If I knew then what I know now I would have done things completely different. But I wouldn't have had as much fun.

I would have had a couple more children, not wasted money on material things, enjoyed myself more with the children instead of working 24 -7,I would have stayed in England instead of moving to Spain. But it's no good looking back with regret the only thing you can do is look forward be positive and hopefully learn by your mistakes.

I'd have followed a different career path. I eventually went back to university at the age of 26 and gained the career i really wanted.

I would have learnt my grammar and spelling better than I have done , then i would not be bullied and frightened by the frustrated school mistress's who haunt this site, and hurt my fragile feelings saying I am thick, lol
other than that I have to agree with Skiddos answer that would apply to me ,what I done has made my life what it is and I am happy, maybe helped along with the occasional spliff

Rather a lot actually. But I was part of the 60s and had this naive idea that things were going to change for the better....in a totally different way to what they have.

Studied harder for exams, not said stupid things, stuck to the diet I had planned... But it's all irrelevant now.. Regrets are pointless, if you are happy where you are right now at this minute, then you should regret nothing because the slightest thing you did different could have turned your life upside down.

It's a tough call. I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger, but I love the way my life has worked out; maybe if I hadn't been the person I was then I wouldn't be the person I am now.
