The venom injected into you is a neuro-toxin. It affects the nerves directly. Unless you were alergic you would have only suffered pain and swelling. The wasps will paralyze smaller creatures with the sting. Spiders are a common prey for the wasp. I have broke open dirt dauber nests to find a couple of dozen paralyzed spiders in there. The toxin is much more than B-12. It is not in your mind. The pain is real. It needs to be real or else it does not do the wasp much good to sting you.

As for thinking past the pain, yes that is possible with pain control techniques. There are people who teach how to deal with pain. I remember reading that they hired an expert to come in and help out Jim Carrey on the set of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". The costume that he had to wear was unbearable and he had to stay in it for long periods of time. A pain control expert taught him how to stay in the suit longer by using anti-torture techniques.

A wasp bites. A bee stings and dies. Apply lemon on the bite. It's bite is alkaline and the acid in the lemon counters it to reduce the swelling. It's poisonous to people who are suseptable to allergies. A Japanese super wasp is milked and the energy drink VAAM is made which gives marathon runners energy. Naoko Takahashi the marathon winner at Sydney 2000 Olympics drank the original juice(as natural products are not on the banned dope list) and nearly broke the world record. VAAM stands for Vespa Added ____ Milk or something.

a wasp BITE is not energy and certainly not B12.. she is thinking of bee pollen, not even bee stings, though bee stings have been reported to help with arthritis

It is venom, if you are allergic to it it can be deadly, otherwise it will just hurt and itch for awhile, try putting mud on it next time, it pulls the venom out.
