It was CHRISTMAS eve and Doc Sims was tired as he dozed in the buggy on the way home. Home was a room with a lumpy cot behind his small country office. Being the only doctor in a small Western town and for miles around was not an easy life. But it was one he and his wife, MERRY NOEL, had chosen. She had been a CHRISTMAS baby and they had even been married on the YULETIDE eve. That was fifty years ago today! "FELIZ NAVIDAD," he whispered in his dozing. His beloved Spanish eyed MERRY NOEL had been gone this past five years. That was when he had moved to the small room behind his office.

Tonight, the birth of the Johansen's baby had reminded him of the only baby he and Merry had ever had. They had lost the tiny daughter during a smallpox epidemic. It was regretful they had never been graced with more for they both loved and wanted children.

The aged grey mare clip-clopped down the star lit country lane on it's way to the stables for a warm stall of fresh hay and a bucket of oats. Doc Sims head bobbled and he smiled in his sleep as a vision of a CHRISTMAS tree all aglow formed before him. The angel on the top had never sparkled so brightly. MERRY NOEL with a babe in arms was dancing around as she happily strung mistletoe about humming with the CHRISTMAS carolers heard in the distance. Garlands of holly and colorful paper chains were draped everywhere. Stockings were hanging over the fireplace waiting for FATHER CHRISTMAS to arrive and fill them. The aroma of roasting turkey wafted through the air. The scene was perfect and alive with the excitement with CHRISTMAS magic and SANTA CLAUS.

MERRY NOEL turned and smiled. "Look, Angel," she cooed to the babe in arms. "Your Papa has finally come home for CHRISTMAS."

The aged mare plodded into the stable and stood patiently waiting to be unhitched from the buggy. The stable boy rushed out. "Howdy, Doc," he greeted. "Everything go well out at the Johansens?" he asked as he started to unhitch the mare. There was no reply. Doc Sims had indeed gone home for CHRISTMAS.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!

Dodge City, Kansas
Circa 1873

"Santa Spreads Cheer But Bad Outlaws Cavort"

It was the week before CHRISTMAS, when all through Dodge City.
Not a creature was stirring, not even Miss Kitty.
Sunshine and MattBaby were sitting by a fire.
Matt's heart was filled with YULETIDE.
Sunny's heart? Well of course......... desire !!
Festus had hung his stocking and left cookies for SANTA CLAUS.
Doc was being grouchy because....Well just because.

There were sounds of "HO HO HO"..... FATHER CHRISTMAS was in town.
But WHERE ?! Ohhhhhhh, just where?! The townsfolk searched around.
"FELIZ NAVIDAD" could be heard; It was very, very clear.
Was Santa Hispanic? And what about those reindeer?

Sometimes old Dodge was filled with the criminal sort. They robbed and they killed; Bad outlaws cavort.
But in spite of these men. Inspite of their flaws. The citizens of Dodge had the good Mr. Claus.
He spread brotherly love and goodwill to the West. Santa was good. Santa was best.
He is kind , he is jolly , to spread joy, always willin'.

"God bless us everyone," said Sunshine♥ and her Dillon♥.

i'm sorry, yet a minimum of you have had prevalent your mom for a speedy at a similar time as, some babies never even have that. Boarding college isn't possibly a foul option, it beats foster care and public college. i think of you have some advantages that some would never have. I desire you success, lifestyles isn't luckily ever after, all we are able to do is to make the final with what playing cards that are dealt to us.
