I'm in a long distance relationship. I've noticed that the root problem in our relationship is jealousy. I feel like a little bit of this is a normal emotion in a ldr. But the other night, he did something that truly disturbed me. We were talking on the phone, and he kept mentioning how he thought that I could have another man in my bed while I'm on the phone with him. We kept talking, and then my phone died and I waited a few minutes for it to charge to call him back. When I did, he told me to just call him when i got back in town and hung up the phone. Only 3 minutes before, he was telling me how much he loved me, and couldn't wait for me to get home. I know he's an extremely jealous person but I didn't know how bad it was. I tried calling him yesterday, and he basically said he didn't want to talk to me. I have cheated on him in the past, but I thought we were over that. What's wrong with him?

By cheating, I kissed another man. Nothing more than that. And I'll be home to see him on Monday, so why is this just coming out now?

Long distance relationships are bullshit.

This guy is a psycho, by the way.

Trust is a big issue in a relationship and this is what he lacks in you. He may always bring this up whenever you two have an argument. The way he is acting tell me that he is very insecure and that he is going to kill the relationship with it. I think you should think about ending it with him and moving on. This could also bring on mental abuse. If this is torturing him now he will only get worse and you'll want out.

Long distance relationships are very hard to make work. Out of sight out of mind. Jealousy usually goes hand in hand with a long distance situation, and jealousy will kill any relationship every time.

What's wrong with him? You admit that you've cheated in the past. Why would he think you wouldn't again? This is why long distance relationships seldom work. Part ways before one of you really gets hurt.

Its obvious whats wrong..he is jealous and you have cheated before. He apparently has not gotten over it. So you either need to speak to him more about it or break it off as its just not working out and life is too short to have a lot of drama.

What's wrong with him? Uuummmhhh, let's see....you cheated on him! Give him one good reason why he should trust you? Jealously and distrust are 2 different things. I'm not a jealous person but when my husband cheated I had a very hard time trusting him again...BETRAYAL.

Golden rule: Never ever cheat and admit it.
what's good for the goose is NEVER good for the gander. Men can dish it, but they CANNOT take it. Once u cheat he'll look at you differently. It's a double-standard and totally unfair, but hey it's life!

Maybe there is a bigger story to be told. Maybe he is not jealous but he knows what could, can or is going on.

He has no trust in you....and rightly so...you cheated on him...and without trust...there is no relationship...especially with long distant relationships..
