it's good to fail yourself so badly that you feel you have nothing, then you will be at a point where everything is possible such a failure will redefine what you think success to be!

It happens, happened to me, it led me to physically attack a mountain I even gave it verbal while doing so, how totally ridiculous and you don't know half the story - My failing ( and that one went to the core ) allowed me to know myself better and is strength to never to be self important to never think too much of yourself. Letting go of yourself is utterly cathartic.

For some things it is better to fail. Because if you fail at something then you learn that feeling, get the experience, and learn how to try again, or do things better.
For some thing it is better to succeed. Because it always feels good to succeed at something. No one 'wants' to fail at something. So therefor if we do succeed we have a sense of accomplishment. Or other feelings. Which of course are great feelings.
Failing, is nature. It happens, this way you can learn from it, make it better, or just continue. You learn how to deal with certain situations by failing some of them.
Hopes that helped!

Let It Be A Lesson For Future Success."

You don't have the failure or success first and then decide which is better ! The better we would call success. But better not to weigh things up. You can't tell for a long time what was truly good.
'Many are the ways that seem right to a man that lead only to death'. -- My favorite quote, as I've noted elsewhere on Yahoo Answers.

Both. Sometimes we fail then learn from that later to succeed :) Failure is a humbling experience. We all need to be brought back to earth every now and then!

I have never had that insatiable desire to be over the top successful, I know my limits, leave that up to people who live for it, I am successful at things I know I have in the bag and that is being a good mom and wife, everything else seems so petty I guess, I am a certified nurses assistant, I love that job I love helping people and I am pretty successful at it but it's not a job a choose to do for the rest of my life, and I most certainly don't want to move up to nursing, something gets lost in people when they try so hard to get up that ladder of success and it's not appealing to me, so I will just hang in the middle of success and failure.

Why place yourself in a situation, decision, circumstance of it having to be one or the other? If the perception is altered, one NEVER needs to "fail"! Why do that to yourself!? All lessons in life CAN be learned & retained without them being/becoming failures. Learn the difference thereof and your life will turn into nothing but sucsess.

Failure is being condoned and accepted in our society.

Examples would be the lax laws regarding bankruptcy, the ease of obtaining legal help when people get into trouble, and the ability to get financial assistance when you can prove loss of income.

Success becomes less and less likely in a society catering to laziness and laying off of workers.

I prefer success over failure, but failure is becoming re-defined and sometimes more rewarding.

Let's not bull----- sucsess is better. In the end the only reason why a failure would be good is to learn from that mistake, and strive again for sucsess. if a failure can only strive to be a sucsess, then what do you think is better?
