Take slow deep breaths. Make sure you have water, in case your mouth gets dry. It can happen if you are nervous. focus on what you are reading and feel proud you are capable and able to do this, there are so many that would not be able to even have the opportunity. Don't read to fast-take your time- and know that you've worried a lot more than you should, because it will be over before you know it and you'll look back at it and say Wow! I spased out and it's over already. I have to sing in front of people and it use to be a Problem for me until I realized that I was putting way to much pressure on myself to be perfect and after I decided to just let it go and be myself, now I enjoy it so much more.I been doing it quite a while now though. Good Luck and I know you will do your best and it's Ok to be Proud of yourself. Remember to Breath-It really does help-and they are only human just like you. No one different just fellow classman! I'm Proud of ya and I know you will do Great!

The best advice is to relax. It is common to be nervous when you speak to groups of people.

Just make eye contact with someone who has a friendly face in the back and make believe that she is the only one in the room with you.

Just relax. It will be all right.

Everyone has fear when they have to speak in front of people, its perfectly natural.

Take it slowly and evenly and it will come out fine.
