Simplifying
(-4 + -7i) + -1(10 + -5i)
Remove parenthesis around (-4 + -7i)
-4 + -7i + -1(10 + -5i)
-4 + -7i + (10 * -1 + -5i * -1)
-4 + -7i + (-10 + 5i)
Reorder the terms:
-4 + -10 + -7i + 5i
Combine like terms: -4 + -10 = -14
-14 + -7i + 5i
Combine like terms: -7i + 5i = -2i
-14 + -2i

i is the sq. root of -a million, and in case you have (sqrt(-a million))^2 then you particularly only get -a million. so case in point, #24 you have i*i*i*i....*i 11 instances, so interior the top you may have only -i. so pleaseeee do your homework your self.
