BTW, I have been called fat, but right now I'm pregnant. Who doesn't gain weight during pregnancy.
I would never call someone that because I've know how it feels and it's a terrible hurtful thing.
Thanks for the answers!

:) I've been called fat, rude and lacking "couth" (had to look couth up in the dictionary, that was a new one) don't worry about it;if it's someone close to you, tell them it was rude of them to say it and you expect an apology.
FYI I'm 6 feet tall,240 pounds with a barrel chest;I'm just a big man,not fat.
as too rude and uncouth,i consider myself to be honest and blunt.

Those of us who are fat or obese need to be happy and confident in who and what we are and if we are not act on the items we want to change. I have been very fat for much of my life - as a child from over 200 in 4th grade to over 450 in high school. I lost it in my 20s and 30s, but was not happy and gained 400 over 10 years to now be 620. I love being very large. I always have and continue to get comments and generally say "Thanks for noticing my size; yes, I am very fat and I love being this way!"

In the last month or two of pregnancy my husband took to calling me "Mama Beluga" (as in whale) but he never used the "f" word. In fairness, all the weight was in my belly (our two weeks late daughter weighed nine and a half pounds and looked like a two-month-old baby at birth!). After she was born I immediately "deflated" down to my very "slender" high school figure, something I hadn't seen or been in more than a decade! Unfortunately, that's no longer the case, Would you have felt 'better' if your sister had called your face "puffy"? Maybe she was worried about your health??? If not, and you know her better, then I agree she was being pretty nervy seeing as how you were treating her to a meal. She could have been more diplomatic or simply stayed silent!

Yes. If you relate my answer to Kyle and what he says about Cartman it may sound weird, but I used to be fat for 4 years.
I felt normally being called fat; it was obvious I was fat.
I never called anyone fat after I had been fat, but I had said this to someone before I became fat

I have never been called fat and I would never call anyone that. What is the point of trying to make someone feel bad about themselves?

Not from anyone I didn't know. My family has called me fat even though I am not fat. They just like to insult me.
I have called some of my family fat and they are not.
