My hubby wants me to masturbate alone and in front of him more often because he thinks it will make me more sexually aware. However, I've tried to masturbate several times (manually and with toys) before and I really don't get aroused. I mean it feels nice when I do it, but I don't enjoy it as much as he thinks I would. By the way, I am in my late20s, this is my first marriage, my hubby is the 3rd guy I've been with, and I never had any children. It's ok if you don't get excited my masturbating yourself. Not everybody likes it. I have friends who have never done cause they think it's gross. Maybe you husband tells you to do this because he likes watching you do it. Talk to him and tell him that you prefer it when HE touches you. It's important to be very honest in these type of things because that's how problems start and if you aren't honest then you begin to have problems, and you wouldn't want that. Just be honest and things will go fine. Good luck.

You sound half way normal at least.
(I mean... who's to say what IS normal, anyway...)
If you don't get that much out of it, then that's fine. I am thinking your husband wants to watch for his own pleasure. Which is also fine.
But if having a participatory element is more fun for you, then, I seriously don't see why he'd have a problem with that.
Have a gentle, non-threatening, non accusing talk, and let him know your preferences. You should be able to make him feel big and important, if you do it right.

your hubby looks he enjoys while you were mastrubating where as you wont stimulate yourself when doing so,
why dont you insist your partner to mastrubate before u and enjoy while you too, got it, anyway it is big normal as you said
